As its name suggests, a gap year is an academic year during which a student temporarily suspends his or her studies, on a voluntary basis, in order to gain personal experience in France or abroad.
This is the choice that Tim and Bastien decided to make after having the idea of creating a responsible food truck dedicated to students: they were able to create and publicise their project, they crossed the campuses of the University of Lorraine on board their responsible food truck at affordable prices for students. This project started in September and was made possible by their gap year.
