An internship abroad

An internship abroad is an opportunity to compare your achievements with the reality of the international job market. It’s also a nice line to put on the CV.

How to get an internship abroad ?

  • The Career center diffuses internship offers, some of which take place abroad. Remember to consult it!
  • Erasmusintern.org, a web-based platform where companies and organisations can offer their internship abroad
  • For 3rd year of Bachelor's degree in Management students, the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR) can accommodate interns in its research laboratory. The missions offered over a period of 10 weeks. They are integrated into research projects often related to entrepreneurship and generally affect the fields of finance and marketing.

Scholarships:

Below the Grants and possible aid within your professional mobility:

  • The Erasmus + grant (Internship) is a financial aid reserved for intern students in a European country, varying from € 300 to € 450 / month depending on the host country.
  • UL mobility aid (AMOBUL) is intended for non-scholarship students completing a non Erasmus internship abroad and varies between € 270 and € 370 depending on the host country.
  • UL mobility aid (AMI) is an aid granted to scholarships students doing a non Erasmus internship and amounts to € 400 / month.

For any scholarship request, the file must be returned 8 weeks before the start of the internship.

You also have the possibility of benefiting from the mobility aid of the Grand Est region, which offers packages to support international student mobility.

If you are doing an internship of at least 4 weeks in Germany, and you do not benefit from the UFA scholarship or grant, you can apply for the OFAJ scholarship.

Funding is always subject to conditions.

Depending on the type of mobility and your personal situation (grant holder or not), you can apply for various aids. Sending a file does not guarantee funding. On the other hand, the number of monthly payments does not always correspond to the full duration of the stay / internship. The costs are for information only and are reviewed annually.
