Administrative registration must be completed before each academic year and must be validated before the start of classes: fees paid and card issued.
Only administrative registration confers the status of a student, allows to sit for exams and obtain the issuance of the diploma. It is carried out following the acceptance of the application.
Registration / re-registration dates
- For new students (who have never been registered at the University of Lorraine): July 6th to October 30th 2022
- For students re-registering (having already been registered at the University of Lorraine): June 30th to October 30th 2022
Registration procedure for basic training
Once your registration has been accepted on eCandidat, please follow these steps:
Step 1
Firstly, you must imperatively pay the Student Life and Campus Contribution – CVEC (amount €95), imperatively before your registration by connecting to the following website: http://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr (insert link to site).
Carefully follow the procedure on the website. Once the procedure and payment have been completed, a certificate will be issued to you by email containing an identification number that will be requested when you register.
Step 2
You can now start the registration process using one of the following links:
Go to the following link to complete your registration: https://inscriptions.univ-lorraine.fr.
The user name you will be asked for is your Ecandidat file number preceded by EC.
Go to the following link to complete your re-registration: https://reinscriptions.univ-lorraine.fr/
The user name that you will be asked for is your student number.
You must then follow the procedure to pay the registration fees. Don't forget your CVEC number. At the end of the online procedure, make a note of your student number (for first-time students) and upload your recap.

Registration procedure for executive training, apprentices and professionalisation contracts
Once your registration has been accepted on eCandidat, please follow the following steps according to your profile:
Step 1
Your training must be the subject of an agreement to cover university fees. You must wait for an email from the IAE indicating that this agreement has been returned to you by the employer or the funding organisation.
Step 2
Once the email has been received, you must make an appointment to proceed with your registration directly within our school, by logging in on:

- for re-registration (you have already been registered at the University of Lorraine before): https://reinscriptions.univ-lorraine.fr.
Step 3
To finalise your registration, please submit your supporting documents in electronic form at this link: dematpj.univ-lorraine.fr

Once you have completed your online registration, please contact your Diploma / School Manager to finalise your registration.

Transfer procedure
Any student changing universities must ask their home university to transfer their student file to the host university.
Students from another French university who wish to study at the University of Lorraine should contact their home university to find out how to transfer their application.
Students of the University of Lorraine who wish to study at another university must fill out the application form for file transfer and send it by email to the tuition of its component.
Be careful, the transfer of files is only done between French universities. It does not apply to students coming or going abroad.
