On February 8th 2022, Etienne Effa, Director of Public Finances in Moselle, and Julien Husson, Director of the IAE Metz School of Management - University of Lorraine, signed a partnership agreement with a view to developing communication, information, training and professionalisation for students wishing to enter the state civil service and, more specifically, the competitive examinations organised by the DGFIP.
The aim of this partnership is to strengthen the employment of young people in Moselle, promote the attractiveness of the DGFIP's professions and develop the integration of IAE Metz students. Indeed, Julien Husson recalled that one of the main missions of the school is the integration of graduates. This convention will make it possible to discover the jobs and careers offered by the DGFIP.
The attractiveness of public finance jobs is a major challenge for the Directorate General of Public Finance. It anticipates significant recruitment needs in the coming years to replace the many retirements. In order to raise awareness of its missions and professions and to diversify the academic profiles and the social and geographical origins of those taking the competitive examination, the DGFIP has signed local partnerships with the world of higher education.
Concrete commitments for the benefit of the 1350 students of IAE METZ are made:
- Support for the preparation of DGFIP competitive examinations to increase the chances of success, with a view to strengthening the presence of executives from IAE METZ in its workforce
- Hosting apprentices in the public finance departments of Moselle
- Interventions by public finance experts in bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration, asset and property management.
This agreement also illustrates the State's desire to promote the employment of young people from the Moselle region.
