A look back at the IAE Metz Franco-German and Cross-Border Days

As every year, the students of the "Franco-German Integrated Master in Management" of the IAE Metz organised the twelfth edition of the "Franco-German and Cross-Border Days of the IAE Metz School of Management". Within the framework of this event, different activities around the theme of Franco-German friendship were offered.

The Franco-German short film festival "Les Petits Claps" took place on January 28th 2022 at the Klub cinema in Metz, with a total of 80 entries. For this event, the students were in partnership with the Inspire Metz Agency and the WTC Metz-Saarbrücken, who presented their film Mon Combat by Rudy Milstein, filmed in Metz in 2019. 16 Franco-German films were also programmed.

The "Franco-German Country Market" project took place on January 30th 2022 on the Place de la République. About twenty Franco-German exhibitors, most of them from the Greater Region of SaarLorLux, offered various products: cold meats, cheese, salmon, biscuits, beers, soaps, candles, etc. A warm atmosphere was present, under the Metz sun, thanks in particular to Moritz Harms, a young German singer and guitarist who was able to accompany this event perfectly with his music.

The Forum of Artists Actors of the Greater Region "FAAR" project (Forum des Artistes Acteurs de la Grande Région) took place in the salons of the Metz City Hall on January 29th and 30th 2022. About thirty artists were present, half of which were German, Belgian or Luxembourger artists and the other half were French artists. This exhibition was created around the theme of childhood and its different interpretations.

The "Metz en Musik" project took place on January 29th 2022 at the Temple Neuf. The local conservatories of the Metz conurbation were put in the spotlight at the heart of this event. Our students of the Franco-German Integrated Master in Management were able to collaborate with the Hagondange conservatory as well as with a theatre troupe, to bring originality and cheerfulness to the concert.
