The Master's degree is registrated as State Degree in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP code 35910). It is certified level 7.
This training is offered only in the second year of the Master's degree.
The Master's degree "Geomanagement, Strategy and Global Defense of Organisations" aims to equip the student with theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge in the field of strategic management and economic intelligence. He focuses more particularly on understanding the influence of geopolitics in the conduct of organisations, as well as on the implementation of security devices for goods, people and knowledge. It thus responds, conceptually and empirically, to the new situation (economic, technological, geopolitical, etc.) that has been structuring the world since the early 2000s.

For students of basic training :
• The Master's degree "Strategic and Geopolitical Management" can be part of the search for a double competence. It is aimed more particularly at students who have already graduated from a 2nd year of Master's degree in the following fields: "law", "political science", "public management" or even "business administration" (non-exhaustive list). The jury will pay particular attention to the professional project presented. In addition, in the case of students in initial training, the promise of a professionalisation contract is required at the time of the recruitment interview; here are some examples of assignments for block release: study of international location, impact of international relations on the activity, security and economic intelligence diagnostics, analyses related to interculturality, etc.
For students of lifelong learning:
• in the private sector: SME/SMI managers, international business managers, private sector executives in charge of development, development in large firms.
• in the sector of local authorities, administration and the "parapublic" sector: executives of local authorities and administrations, elected officials, foreign trade advisers and economic diplomacy.
• in the army: officers in the framework of internal training (preparation for the War School), personnel undergoing professional retraining.

Conduct
Students will be present at the IAE Metz at the rate of one week per month. The start of the academic year takes place in September of the year n, the defences of the research dissertations in September of the year n +1.
